Selection of Data Elements

Enter the maximum number of times you wish each Segment to appear in a Group. For example, you may wish to include an invoice address and a delivery address in the Party Identifiers Group for the Buyer, in which case two "Name and address" segments would be required in the "Party Identifiers" Group. You will be able to edit each Party Identifier Group later, to allow two names and addresses for the Buyer and only one for the Purchase. The maximum allowable number of repeats for each segment is shown, and a default "1" already entered.

Check the box for each Data Element which you wish to appear in a Segment. Data Element names with no checkbox are mandatory within the Segment. Data Element names in capitals are either Composite Data Elements or Standalone Data Elements. Component Data Element names are indented and appear in lower case. If a Composite Data Element is not selected, then checking the relevant Component Data Elements will have no effect.
